Early Years

If you are working in or considering a career in Early Years then you could be working in a Nursery, Preschool, Parent and Toddler Group, Children's Centre, Childminder, Creche or a foundation stage unit in a school, with children aged 0 to 5 years.

We have a selection of courses that are suitable for any of the above settings. We will work with you on a 1:1 basis to guide you through the qualification meeting you at times convenient to you and your employer.

Qualifications

CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to work in homebased childcare - this is suitable for homebased childcarers such as childminders or nannies.

CACHE Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (EYE) - this qualification is suitable for assistants and support staff in settings. It is recognised the the Department for Education and Ofsted as a full and relevant level 2 qualification.

CACHE Level 3 Diploma for Early Years Workforce (EYE) - this course is suitable for practitioners who have experience or who have or would like to have a supervisory role. It is delivered on a 1:1 basis with an assessor supporting you in your own setting. It is recognised the the Department for Education and Ofsted as a full and relevant level 3 qualification. This course has UCAS points and will take approximately 1 year to complete.

CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education - this course is suitable for practitioners who have experience or who have or would like to have a supervisory role. It is delivered on a 1:1 basis with an assessor supporting you in your own setting. It is recognised the the Department for Education and Ofsted as a full and relevant level 3 qualification. This course has UCAS points and will take approximately 2 years to complete.

CACHE Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services (Advanced Practitioner Pathway) - this pathway is suitable for leaders and managers who work directly with children. The qualification is made up of a series of mandatory and optional units, allowing you to tailor the course to meet your needs.

CACHE Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services (Management Pathway) - this pathway is suitable for leaders and managers who have management roles. The qualification is made up of a series of mandatory and optional units, allowing you to tailor the course to meet your needs.

CACHE Level 4 Certificate for the Early Years Advanced Practitioner - this is a CPD course and suitable for advanced practitioners such as supervisors and room leaders or for those who have a level 3 qualification and want to develop their knowledge and practice.

CACHE Level 5 Dipoma for the Senior Early Years Practitioner (EYE) - this qualification is specifically for leaders who work within the early years sector. It is recognised the the Department for Education and Ofsted as a full and relevant qualification.

Common Core of Skills and Knowledge - this is an on line only course and is suitable for nannies.

In addition to the above courses we are also able to provide paediatric first aid, health and safety, food safety, safeguarding, EYFS, supporting behaviour and other short courses. We are also able to provide pre registration sessions and training for local authorities.
