CACHE Level 3 Award in Awareness of Dementia
This qualification aims to develop the knowledge and skills required when providing positive care for people with dementia and their families. The qualification provides an awareness of the causes and symptoms of dementia. The qualification is aligned to the National Dementia Strategy. It is for anyone who wants to work in Social Care in either local authority or private care environments. It is also suitable for qualified practitioners who have not covered dementia care in previous qualifications. You should be at least 16 years old. This qualification requires 11 credits and it will be assessed by your Tutor or Assessor using a range of methods. To complete the Award you do not need to be working as it is a knowledge only qualification. You can usually complete it in 6 months or less. The group price is for up to 12 learners.
