CACHE Level 3 Award in Transition to Playwork (from Early Years) (QCF)
This qualification is based on the National Occupational Standards for Playwork and will develop the knowledge needed when working in playwork settings. It covers the theories and principles of play and playwork, risk management and how to support the needs and rights of children to create diverse play environments.This full level 3 qualification is suitable for practitioners who have already completed a full level 3 early years or childcare qualification. The two units explore how to provide play opportunities for children over the age of 4 in play settings such as breakfast clubs, afterschool clubs, holiday clubs, school lunch times or parks. You should be over the age of 18 years. This course is also available as a distance learning and blended learning course. The group cost is for up to 12 learners.
