CACHE Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People's Workforce
This qualification is suitable for those who are new to the childcare sector or for assistants in nursery, school or preschool settings. As part of this qualification you will be required to complete a 12 hour paediatric first aid course. This qualification is designed to help learners build the knowledge and skills needed when working under supervision with children and young people from birth to 19 years of age. It covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas working in children's settings including early years and social care. It will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods. This could include direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments. The optional units allow you to tailor the course to meet your needs and interests. You must be working or volunteering in a setting and you must be 16 years of age or older. The group price is for up to 12 learners.
