CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare
This course can be gained through distance learning on an individual basis or group class attendance. The group cost is for a group of up to 15 learners. It is suitable for homebased childcarers such as childminders or nannies. Learners could be new to the sector or have some experience which they want to gain a certificate for. The course explores running your own business, legislation, policies and procedures, working in partnership with parents, routines, child development, the EYFS, observations, assessment and planning, health and safety, dealing with emergencies, behaviour and many other relevant topics. Extensive support is given to learners to ensure they have the correct policies and procedures in place. Distance learning students have a personal tutor allocated to them who work with them on a 1:1 basis using a variety of communication methods to suit the learner and they are able to access all course materials via our on line learning platform. The group cost is for up to 12 learners.
